Passionate Language Teachers
All our teachers at SOUTHSEA LANGUAGE SCHOOL are highly qualified and hold a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education). They are professional and experienced teachers with warm personalities. All teachers are native speakers of the language they teach.
Our Courses
At Southsea Language School we embrace a friendly online learning environment that will help you gain confidence and improve your communication skills from day one. You will learn Spanish, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Russian and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) in small groups. Our teachers will use a wide range of activities in the lessons and tailor the language courses to meet your individual needs. Learning a language has never been so easy and fun before!

About me
Hola, I'm Ángela, the founder of Sothsea Language School. I have a degree in Clinical Psychology, a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) and MA in Applied Linguistics and TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).
I'm a native speaker of Spanish and for the last five years I taught at Chichester College ((A levels and evening courses). I had opened a small language school in Southsea, Portsmouth, things were going well but unfortunately after six months I had no choice but to close it due to the Covid. We all need to adapt to new situations so I started teaching online for the first time and I now run online Spanish courses from beginners to advanced level. 2020 was a nice year after all. I had a beautiful daughter, I taught myself ceramics and started making jewellery (instagram @angie.creates_para.ti). I hope I see you soon in one of my courses. Hasta pronto!
